are you friends with this individual or was this more of an instantaneous-acquaintance type shot? heroically shot either way. not in a dangerous way, but more compassionate/observationally heroic. he seems very relaxed and very reasonable about the camera situation, it seems understood that there is something of interest that might as well be documented and that he trusts you to do it. it tells a lot about his temperament and is a very fine portrait; unless i'm off, but either way, a good one.
